Since we started PMBA toward the end of last year we have been encouraging individuals, clubs and companies to become founder members of the organisation. So far we have Ride on, Tarty Bikes, Cycle Junkies, Brownbacks, Back on Track, Hope Technology, BAD, and EDC with Lancashire County Council and the Forestry Commission giving vital support. The logos of these founding organisations and supporters appear on this website and we would like to express our gratitude for this commitment. Already this has supported insurance for volunteer trail building teams and a First Aid training for volunteers from across the area. We have dig sessions planned and looking forward we want to be able to support more training, events and trail building activity. We will also be pushing for better access and Mountain Biker representation on local access forums and other networks. To do all this we need support from as many Mountain Bike Clubs and Businesses as possible. The opportunity to become a founder member is still open and for a contribution of at least £100 your organisation can play a part in supporting better trails and better access in Lancashire and the Pennines. Individuals can become founder members for £15.
PMBA is a volunteer organisation seeking to represent Mountain Bikers in Lancashire and surrounding Pennine areas. PMBA is affiliated to British Cycling and CTC.
