Dirt School Comes to Lee Quarry

Published on: Nov 18 2011 by Jon Swift

We are goingDirt School to be holding a Dirt School Weekend in Lee Quarry 14th/15th January. We will be having three coaches (have a look at the web site for their CV’s) from Dirt School. Rowan Sorrel (Back On Track) who has designed and built a lot of the features at Lee Quarry, Gisburn and Healey Nab will be one of the three coaches so who better to teach people how to ride there than the guy who built most of it. Craig from Ride On will be there to coach and offer advice on bike set up and mechanical back up. Craig will also have some demo bikes available for p
eople to try out over the weekend.

Places will be limited to 20 participants so the coach to student ratio will be really good and the group will be able to split up to focus on different skills as appropriate. This will not be a beginners course and intention

Ye Olde Boot and Shoe
where Mark will be able to offer good showers, excellent food and beer and a secure lock up for bikes.

More detailed information regarding costs and how to book on to this course will be available soon but if you are interested in taking part e-mail Tony Lund at tony.lund@lancashire.gov.uk and he will make sure you get sent booking information as soon as it is available.

Might make an ideal Christmas present for the mountain biker who has everything!Dirt School Wall Ride
